Using This With A Patient
Grocery Shopping Task gives patients a structured online shopping space to practice technology use, organization, attention, budgeting, and safety judgment before returning to real-world grocery routines.
Select the shopping list that matches the patient’s current attention, language, visual scanning, memory, and executive function needs.
Use Therapist Controls to simplify store choice, turn budgets or fees on/off, and adjust substitutions, coupons, hints, aphasia mode, or low-vision mode.
Review the task card together so the patient knows the required items, budget, checkout method, and special rules before shopping.
Have the patient search, browse aisles, compare options, add items, monitor the cart total, and check whether the cart matches the goal.
Coach the patient to verify pickup or delivery, fees, tip, discounts, substitutions, extra items, and final total before confirming the practice order.
Review missed items, extra items, cueing, corrections, budget accuracy, and safety decisions, then generate a therapist summary and SOAP note.
Choose a Fictional Store
Store selection changes the simulation context only. It does not place or prepare a real grocery order.
